I'M A STROKE SURVIVOR JUST LIKE YOU!
You ever heard the saying it's lonely at the top?
As creator of the global movement called Second Chance Stroke Survivors Worldwide I find some of you put me on a kinda elevated pedestal.
Ohhhhh Aaron is a better stroke survivor than me!
NOPE! NOTTA! NO WAY!
You see I'm just like you!
My stroke has left me ravaged with deficits in a huge way! (Physical, Mental and emotionally)
So don't make the mistake some do and think I'll behave better than you!
My stroke brain fixates, I have uncontrolled outbursts of emotions, I say some really inappropriate things!
So if you elevate me and I spaz, I'll devastate you!

ONE OF MANY STROKE DEFICITS I HAVE
Something happened in my worldwide stroke chat that brings this up peeps!
So I have a filter deficit caused by stroke! SOME NOT FULLY UNDERSTANDING THE DEFICIT SAY IT'S JUST AN EXCUSE!
They couldn't be more wrong!
So how can I help you understand?
So bad was my deficit after my stroke, they brought my wife into a hospital board room and told her if I don't get it under control they have decided to throw me out of the hospital!
Excuse? I DON'T THINK SO!
Although better, far from recovered!
So here I am as usual when my filter deficit raises it's ugly head.
Thinking I'm being funny when everyone explodes!
OHHHHHHHHHHH NOW I GET IT!
I was actually being rude even hurtful!

SOOOOOOOOOOO! POWERFUL!
This morning I witnessed something so powerful it brought tears to my eyes!
So I'm on Twitter and I see a post from a 23 year old Brain Stem stroke survivor named Bethany Sinfield.
Bethany was just 17 years old when an unknown hole in her heart let a blood clot to pass through and caused a Brain Stem Stroke.
Come to find out she's in the United Kingdom.
Most of you know Second Chance Stroke Survivors Worldwide on Facebook has become a global movement.
I have couple members in the UK.
So I introduce them to each other and guess what?
There going to start a local stroke support group soon!
JUST HOW POWERFUL IS THAT!
BECAUSE OF SECOND CHANCE STROKE SURVIVORS WORLDWIDE THEIR GOING TO START A LOCAL STROKE SUPPORT GROUP IN THE UNITED KINGDOM!

3rd Request universe! I (AARON) IS IN NEED OF A MIRACLE! (Personal)
I have emailed this to numerous implant Dentists with no reply. Because of my desperation I am throwing it out to the universe through Twitter.
Hi, my name is Aaron Avila and I am in desperate need of human kindness and a Christmas miracle!
Please understand that my life situation (stroke) forces me to do whatever it takes to ask you to help me.
Never in my circle of life, did I ever foresee my future here in this place! But I have no other choice.

You see on September 17th 2010, age 47, as fast as lightning strikes, I became a stroke survivor! I survived certain death (my near death experience) from an aneurysm exploding in my brain and 2 weeks later I survived a major stroke!
I can’t walk, Can’t talk very well among countless other things! But I’m very grateful to still be alive and still be with the people I hold dear to my heart on planet earth, my family!
Our family income went from 6 figures now down to under 19k a year in a blink of an eye!
About 5 years ago I had anonymous person donate over $12,000 dollars to me so I could get much needed dentures.
My stroke took my fine motor skills needed to floss and tooth decay and failure is common place. A local dentist insisted on extracting all my teeth in front and installing bridges. Even some his own staff quietly said this was not a long term solution.
The dentist convinced this stroke survivor to go with the bridges! Against my wife’s better judgment I agreed! Dumb!
Of course after expressing our concerns and explaining how stroke took my fine motor skills and proper maintenance impossible, my front teeth were extracted and bridges installed.
The only opposing teeth I have left to chew with now is the Bridges!
My gut is telling me that they are going to fail after 5 years of not being properly being taken care of!
Than what?
I’m so scared!
(Update 11-1-15) 3 teeth have fractured, one crown, now just small point with post, one down to gum line extremely sharp lacerating tongue, one close to gum line very sharp and jagged, several cavities.
(Update 12/13/15) Left upper feels like it's fighting an abscess, Can't chew meat anymore. Cavities worse and trap food and 100% of my chewing ability is only my bridges! VERY SCARED!
Please help me!

Hi! My name is Aaron and I'm a wheelchair bound stroke survivor who has started a stroke support group movement that has gone global!

There are 1,000's of awesome human beings out there in desperate need of human kindness called stroke survivors.
Shut Ins, Bedridden, 1/2 paralyzed, Wheelchair Bound, Cognitively unable to work, and Families with young children. Stroke survivor ages ranging from newborn to 70+
Like myself, unable to work, and Medical only paying under 19,000 a year for the past 5 years! They are in desperate need of financial help! They are also in need of proper medical care!
Please be their miracle!
First order of business will be to hire an attorney and make Second Chance Stroke Survivors a certified nonprofit. This will also empower us to be able to raise additional funds globally.
Second will be to set up constructs to be able to offer appropriate financial aid.
AARON'S UPDATE 2/12/16
Okay I'm going to speak from the heart. Need your feedback.
So this is the way I feel. So I'll just say it and we can discuss later.
I by no means want to sound selfish because I'm not!
I love my stroke survivors around the world with a divine to my core love I can not put words to.
So here's what I'm thinking.
Thanks to family helping us out financially right down to my mom and dad giving my son their Honda car so he had transportation to and from school.
Now my disability pays under 19,000 a year.
That tells you how much financial help we've needed.
My disability doesn't even cover our mortgage.
We've lost everything but our house (thanks to my mom dad and son). I have a one of a kind family! If not for a true and genuine love my family has for me, I would not be the awesome stroke survivor I am today! They mean everything to me!
I need to make millions so I can give it to my brother and sister stroke survivors in need and give back to my awesome family a smidgen of what they've given me over the last 5 years.
I WILL! WATCH ME!
My folks took money from a reverse mortgage now critically low. (No retirement)
Dad now dying death eminent. Dad's disability stops for my mom when he dies. Significant! Remember because of my stroke funds in their reverse mortgage got taken critically low.
Very concerned for my mom and there's nothing I can do to help her! My dad is dying!
My wife had to sell her $14,000 (AV) wedding ring way under value to make the mortgage one month.
We need a reliable form of transportation. My wife's VW Passat is a salvaged title and has developed a catastrophic mold issue inside.
I also need dental implants desperately.
So I'm thinking it's sound to get my family and I financially stable first.
How can I help my fellow stroke survivors in extreme need, when I'm in extreme need myself?
The passion and love I have for stroke survivors around the world is 100% God given!
